Youth Committee

The purpose of this open day was to get as many people in Nuneaton & Bedworth to come and have a go at Athletics and what nuneaton harriers a.c had to offer. The day went extremley well and we plan to do another Open Day in February 2008 inconjunction with NB Leisure Trust. The day should everyone the fun off athletics and the people were freely moving around to different disciplines, we also had a show of what Nuneaton Harriers is like in a marquee showing of all its kit and international athletes, we put up a Youth Committee marquee to show what we do and also we had a Centenary Celebrations tent looking at the past 100 years of the club. Thanks must go to all the coaches who taught the people hwo to do there discipline, Charles Chadwick for his Young Athlete input, Jared Wilson for the Youth Committee display and Danny Mills for the Club Display, also Mollie Orton for the Centenary Display and Donna Chadwick for all her help. We had around 100 people come to visit so we would like to thank everyone who came!
